RM of Hazel Dell’s story
The Rural Municipality of Hazel Dell No. 335 became an incorporated rural municipality on January 1, 1913. It lies in east-central Saskatchewan, in Census Division No. 9 and SARM Division No. 4.
Within its boundaries are the village of Lintlaw and the organized hamlets of Hazel Dell and Okla, along with the localities of Lone Spruce, Rockford and Stove Creek. The RM office is in Okla, and a municipal council and an appointed administrator run the municipality, meeting on the second Wednesday of every month.
Today the Porcupine Provincial Forest is the attraction the RM is known for, and Highways 49, 617, 753 and 755 run through the municipality.
